DEAR SPOUSES,
Did you know that it is permissible for a husband and wife to bathe together?
Yes—even when performing ghusl from janābah.
ʿĀ’ishah رضي الله عنها reported that she and the Prophet ﷺ would bathe from one vessel, both taking water from it.
This is authentically reported in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim.
So there is nothing wrong with spouses sharing the same water vessel, bathing together, or their hands touching while doing so.
It's completely permissible between husband and wife. ❤️
And don't make marriage unnecessarily awkward.
Your spouse is the person Allah has made halal for you.
There is affection.
There is intimacy.
There is playfulness.
There is privacy.
And there is mercy between you.
Some of you are probably reading this like:
“😳 You mean we can actually do that?” 😂
Yes, dear spouses.
Relax. You're married! 😂❤️
Just remember: calling something Sunnah specifically requires evidence that the Prophet ﷺ practiced or taught it. The established Sunnah here is that the Prophet ﷺ and his wife bathed using the same vessel.
May Allah place mawaddah, raḥmah, affection and barakah between every righteous husband and wife.
Wallāhu Aʿlam.

HIJAB.
Wallāhi, there is something beautiful about a woman who carries herself with ḥayāʾ, modesty and dignity.
A woman doesn't have to show her curves to prove that she is beautiful.
She doesn't have to display her hair for strangers.
She doesn't have to show her shoulders.
She doesn't have to reveal her front or back to thousands of people online.
Not every eye deserves access to your beauty.
Sister, your beauty is not social-media content.
Your body is not something strangers on the internet are entitled to see.
Your beauty does not become more valuable because thousands of people admire it.
And modesty doesn't mean you aren't beautiful.
Sometimes modesty is exactly what makes your beauty more dignified.
Save your adornment for the places and people Allah has permitted.
Beautify yourself for your husband.
Dress beautifully at home.
Take care of yourself.
Be elegant.
Be feminine.
But when you step outside, remember ḥayāʾ.
And brothers, don't forget:
Lower your gaze.
Don't follow women simply because they display themselves.
Don't encourage immodesty with likes, comments and attention.
And sisters, don't measure your worth by how many men notice you.
Your value is not determined by male attention.
Seek something higher:
The pleasure of Allah.
Because trends will disappear.
Beauty will change.
Social-media followers will disappear.
But your relationship with Allah is what matters when everything else is gone.
May Allah grant our sisters beautiful hearts, strong īmān, genuine ḥayāʾ and righteous husbands who appreciate them for their deen and character.
May Allah make modesty beloved to us.
Āmīn.

Maybe what many women truly dream of is not simply a rich husband, a handsome husband, or a perfect husband.
It is a man who feels safe to build a life with.
A man who is honest when nobody is watching.
Loyal when life becomes difficult.
Caring when she is tired.
Patient when they disagree.
Protective without being controlling.
Gentle without losing his strength.
And responsible enough to carry his responsibilities before Allah.
She wants someone with whom she can grow old peacefully.
Someone who will stand beside her when life becomes difficult and say:
“We will get through this together, in shā’ Allah.”
She wants a husband who notices the little things.
Someone who asks, “Have you eaten?”
Someone who notices when she is quiet.
Someone who makes her laugh after a difficult day.
Someone who listens instead of always trying to win an argument.
And after marriage, she doesn't only want a husband…
She hopes to gain a family.
A home where there is mercy.
A home where there is respect.
A home where they can laugh together, talk about the smallest things, support one another, and protect each other's secrets.
But the most beautiful part?
They help each other become better Muslims.
They wake each other for Ṣalāh.
They encourage one another toward the Qur’an.
They remind each other of Allah when dunya becomes overwhelming.
They make duʿā’ for each other.
They correct each other with kindness.
They encourage one another toward Jannah.
Because marriage isn't only about:
“Who will make me happy?”
It is also:
“Who will help me become better for Allah?”
There will still be disagreements.
There will be stressful days.
There will be financial difficulties.
There will be sickness, sadness and moments when neither person feels perfect.
But two people who fear Allah can keep returning to mercy, forgiveness, patience and tawakkul.
The goal isn't a marriage without problems.
The goal is a marriage where both people face the problems together instead of becoming enemies.
May Allah grant every sincere man and woman a spouse who brings them closer to Him, gives them tranquillity, protects their dignity, respects their families, and walks beside them toward Jannatul-Firdaws. ❤️
May Allah place mawaddah, raḥmah, barakah and sakīnah in our marriages.
Āmīn.

“WHY IS ALLAH DELAYING THIS FOR ME?”
Maybe that is not the right question.
The better question is:
“When Allah makes me wait, how will I respond?”
Will I become impatient?
Will I complain?
Will I start thinking Allah has forgotten me?
Will I lose hope in His mercy?
Or will I respond with ṣabr, tawakkul and trust in Allah?
Look at the life of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
There were moments when he had to wait. There were moments when revelation did not come immediately. There were moments of sadness, difficulty, rejection and uncertainty.
And then Allah revealed Surah Ad-Duha:
«“Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor does He hate you.”
(Qur’an 93:3)»
Sometimes the waiting itself is part of the lesson.
If Muhammad ﷺ had to wait…
If Yusuf عليه السلام had to wait…
If Musa عليه السلام had to wait…
If Ayyub عليه السلام had to endure…
Then you and I should not be surprised when our own lives contain seasons of waiting.
You may be waiting for marriage.
Waiting for a job.
Waiting for financial relief.
Waiting for healing.
Waiting for a child.
Waiting for your family situation to change.
Waiting for a dream you have made duʿā’ for again and again.
And sometimes you ask:
“Ya Allah, when?”
But remember:
Allah's giving is mercy, and His withholding can also be mercy.
What you desperately want today may not be what is best for you today.
Sometimes Allah gives because it is good for you.
Sometimes Allah withholds because He is protecting you.
Sometimes He delays because the right time has not arrived.
And sometimes you may never understand the wisdom in this life.
But the believer trusts the One who knows what we cannot see.
This dunya was never promised to be easy.
It is a place of tests, trials, patience and preparation for the Hereafter.
There are no guaranteed “one-day deliveries” in life.
You make duʿā’.
You take the means.
You keep working.
You keep praying.
You keep trying.
And then you leave the outcome to Allah.
Do not let a delayed answer make you believe that Allah has ignored your duʿā’.
Keep asking.
Keep believing.
Keep making tawakkul.
Keep saying:
"حسبن الله ونمال الوكيل
“Hasbunallahu wa niʿmal-wakīl.”
Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs.
Perhaps the thing you are crying about today will one day become the thing you thank Allah for delaying.
May Allah grant us beautiful ṣabr, strengthen our tawakkul, protect us from despair, and give us what is خير for our dunya and our Ākhirah.
Āmīn.
Allah knows best.
