REMINDER

WHEN YOU HELP SOMEONE, DON'T THROW IT BACK IN THEIR FACE.

Dear brothers and sisters,

whenever you help someone financially or in any other way, be careful not to keep reminding them of what you did for them.

For example, don't repeatedly say:📌

“Remember when I helped you? Remember what I did for you?”

You may have helped them during a difficult time, but that doesn't give you the right to humiliate them or make them feel indebted to you forever.

1. If you can avoid reminding them of your favours, then do so.

Don't give Shayṭān an opportunity to corrupt your intention, destroy your reward, or turn your good deed into a source of hurt and humiliation.

2. Do good for the sake of Allah, not for recognition or repayment from people.

Give sincerely, help quietly when appropriate, and ask Allah to accept your efforts. People may forget what you did for them, but nothing is hidden from Allah.

Allah says:☝️☝️

“O you who believe! Do not invalidate your charities with reminders of your generosity or with injury.”

📖 Qur’an 2:264

Dear Muslims,

if you choose to help someone, let your intention be to please Allah. Don't use your generosity as a weapon against someone when you disagree with them or when they can no longer do anything for you.

Help them, preserve their dignity, purify your intention, and leave your reward with Allah.

May Allah protect us from showing off, hurting others through our favours, and losing the reward of our good deeds. May He accept our deeds and make them sincerely for His sake.

Wallāhu Aʿlam. 🤲🏽

Burying the dead at home?

• It’s against the Sunnah to bury anybody at his house or somewhere not the graveyard.

• -Such act is wrong

• Even if that person left a will that he should be buried there

• -that’ll shouldn’t be fulfilled⚠️

• Sunnah is to bury at the graveyard.

Shaykh Muhammad Nāṣir al-Dīn al-Albānī رحمه الله discusses matters relating to funerals and burial in his book Aḥkām al-Janā’iz wa Bidaʿuhā (The Rulings of Funerals and Their Innovations).

Shaykh Ibn Bāz stated that a request to be buried at home should not be followed, and that the deceased should be buried in a Muslim cemetery. Other scholars discuss exceptions where there is a genuine need or necessity, so the circumstances should be considered.

• -Qiyamah is bigger than that!
