Another summer night sitting with my cat, watching the moon rise😌. I may not have a lot of money, land, or esteem, but it's the quiet that brings a certain comfort and closeness to Allah 🤲. Does no one else want to get out of this rat race and start a homestead? I'm going off-grid, InshaAllah 🙌. Who's coming with me 🫡?

I had an interesting conversation today at my local barbershop with several members of the Hispanic community who identify as Catholic. While most of them had heard of Islam, many admitted they didn’t really know what Muslims believe. That led to a relaxed discussion where we talked about the basic beliefs of Islam and how they compare with Christianity and Judaism.

One conversation surprised me. A woman who has been an active Catholic for many years and regularly attends Catholic Bible studies told me that she personally does not believe Jesus is God. I explained that belief in Jesus’ divinity is one of the central doctrines of mainstream Christianity. She seemed genuinely surprised, which reminded me that many people identify with a faith tradition without necessarily being familiar with all of its theological teachings.

Throughout the conversation, I emphasized that I wasn’t trying to persuade anyone to become Muslim. I encouraged everyone to read for themselves, ask questions, and research from reliable sources rather than simply accepting what I said. My goal was to share information, not to debate or convert anyone.

What stood out to me was how little exposure many Spanish-speaking immigrants have had to Islam. Once we started talking, everyone was respectful, curious, and willing to listen. The discussion lasted close to an hour, and by the end we were laughing, joking, and talking like old friends.

It was a good reminder that respectful conversations can go a long way. People don’t have to agree on everything to learn from one another, and I think having more discussions like these helps build understanding between different communities.

“If we can give even 2% to 3% of our combined wealth for the unprivileged & oppressed, for the sake of ALLAH, any empire owned by Almighty in the world will stand for them.”

If our business or livelihood does not serve the main purpose of the world by collectively centralizing public resources, then there is no real benefit to the world except for our personal interests.

Because, we did not take effective steps to rehabilitate the helpless, innocent and oppressed people of the world by pretending to be victims of circumstances!

"We alone do what we can on our own vs. everyone like us do it together on behalf of the world" = There is a huge difference between these two actions.
