I think I’m done with this app.
I matched with someone and we got along well enough to plan a date. I had to cancel the first one because of a genuine family commitment, but I apologized and immediately rescheduled.
The second date was canceled by her.
We planned a third date, and that was canceled too.
After that, I didn’t receive a response for four days.
I’m not upset that someone lost interest that happens, and nobody owes anyone a relationship. What disappointed me was the lack of communication. A simple “I don’t think we’re compatible” would have been enough.
Dating apps can already be difficult. I just wish people treated each other with a little more respect and honesty instead of disappearing.
Maybe this app just isn’t for me. I wish everyone here the best, and I hope we all remember there’s a real person on the other side of the screen.
