Do you ever feel like finding a halal rishta has started to resemble the Canadian job market?
You create a profile, submit it, and end up competing with hundreds of other applicants. Then come the endless rounds of conversations, family involvement, and expectations.
Some people present themselves honestly, but others exaggerate, hide important details, or deceive just to get what they want. It can start feeling more like a competition than a genuine search for compatibility and a sincere connection.
