Assalamu alaikum Georgia. Brother here in Savannah, alhamdulillah praying at the masjid daily. Question for the community: where are the masajid in Georgia with strong sisters programs and good Quran circles? And sisters who wear niqab here in the South, how welcoming have you found it? May Allah keep us all firm.

Anyone still believe in monogamy? Anyone tired of trying to get married and just want a life partner?

Asalamualaikum folks, Early voting already started on Tuesday October 13. Have you voted yet?

While some people in our community have checked out from politics. I get it. The relentless news of global wars, school tragedies, ICE havoc, and skyrocketing costs of gas and groceries are exhausting.

But if you are in Georgia, be for real about the massive collective leverage we hold right now:

We are the margin: Past elections here were decided by a tiny sliver of votes—numbers our demographic easily clears.

Youth are the majority: Over 26% of our community is between 18 and 24.

• Families and youth feel the squeeze: A third of young Muslims make under $30k, while older families are carrying the heavy weight of everyday inflation. From foreign policy to local safety, these decisions impact us first.

If we don't show up, decisions about our future get made for us by people who don't know us.

Early voting is open right now, yes, even Saturday, and for some counties even Sunday. Early voting ends next Friday October 30.

You don't have to wait for Election Day. Gather your parents, grab a friend, a roommate, or a sibling, and pull up to an early voting site this week.

All the Duah we're making at Jummah and other times, Duah for all the man-made, American made calamities, Girl's School Bombed, Weapons sold for more bombing lives, Religious Oppression in Texas, Masked government people kidnapping off the street humans living life, thwarting people trying via speech and protest to raise awareness of atrocities, Un checked monopolies shopping bonanza, and on and on and on.

How can we mitigate those events in the first place so the duah time can be reallocated?

Play domino, place the piece properly way before things get that bad.

Vote. Engage.

For folks new to Georgia or folks old in Georgia but not registered, Voter Registration Deadline is Tomorrow Monday October 5.

Please register. In fact, Georgia has made registration very easy, it's available online. All you need is your driver's license or some other Georgia approved ID.

Then, don't just have the intention to vote, plan for it. When and where. I know too many people personally who all had the intention to vote but at the last minute, plans fell through and didn't vote! I'll harp on that more later. But first, register if you need to.
