It is 4 AM, I am in my bed. Got a call from Shaadi.com guy saying that they would like to help me since the profile has been open for quite a while. It triggered me
Angry with myself, with my family and with God for not figuring out a match for myself even after 4 years. I have suicidal thoughts but will never end my life because there is no point in ending my life either. I wish it were simpler than this. I donāt think I am ugly that I am not able to find a girl I like. It is probably because I donāt have good photos. The matches I have with the girls I like mostly do not work out because of my family background. I come from a sufi background and most Muslims these days do not want to marry into Sufis. Rightfully so. But what the **** do I do now? Disown my background? I could do that but I want to live with my parents. I thought it was because I was working in India. But I had good salary, was earning 50 lakhs unlike most guys at my age. I moved to US now, earning 250k. I donāt think salary or location matters to them as much as I thought it did. I have worked hard on my career thinking this will be taken care for me. I wish it were simple.
