Care. Control. Discipline.
Three words that can sound completely different depending on who is holding them.
Is control always the opposite of freedom?
Or can freedom sometimes mean choosing, consciously and willingly, who you trust enough to guide you?
I find the distinction interesting.
Care is noticing what someone needs before they ask.
Control is accepting responsibility for the direction you agreed to follow.
Discipline is understanding that boundaries mean very little if they disappear the moment they become inconvenient.
But there is a paradox here:
Can someone truly surrender control without first having enough control over herself to choose whom she surrenders it to?
And perhaps the deeper question is not “Do you want to be controlled?”
Maybe it is:
“What would make you trust someone enough to willingly give them that control?”
I’m curious where people draw the line between being cared for, being guided, and being controlled.
Where does healthy authority end—and unhealthy control begin?
Let’s debate it.
How do men view divorced women with kids? I am interested to know the opinions of never married, divorced no kids and divorced with kids men. Would you consider a woman divorced with kids, or do you see that as burden and avoid from the beginning?
