Assalamualaikum, What is the best thing that happened to you today?

Assalamu Alaikum. Would you be open to getting to know each other and having an honest conversation about the possibility of marriage?

My two sons are grown up and busy with their own families, while I live independently. At this stage of my life, I hope to find a sincere, kind-hearted person who values Islam and tries to follow its teachings in everyday life.

I never thought finding the right person for marriage would require me to write a post like this, but here I am, trusting Allah’s timing and taking a sincere step towards finding my future wife, In Sha Allah.

My family has been looking for a suitable bride for me, but since we haven’t found the right match yet, I thought I’d try looking for someone myself as well. Perhaps Allah has written someone for me whom I haven’t crossed paths with yet.

I’m 23, and I would prefer someone aged 23 or younger. I’m hoping to get married within the next 6 months to a year, or sooner if I find the right person and everything works out well with our families, In Sha Allah.

What am I looking for?

A Muslim woman who values her Deen, tries her best to please Allah, and wants a marriage that is more than just companionship. Someone who wants to grow in faith together, remind each other of what is good, and stand beside one another through every season of life.

I appreciate modesty, kindness, emotional maturity, honesty, and a gentle heart. I hope to find someone who values family, communicates with sincerity, and believes that a healthy marriage requires patience, loyalty, respect, and effort from both sides.

I’m not looking for someone perfect. I want someone genuine—someone with whom I can feel at peace, share the little things in life, laugh together, work through our differences, and build a home where Islam is at the heart of everything we do.

I’m here with clear intentions: to find a wife, not to pass time. I’d like us to get to know each other respectfully, with marriage as the goal, and involve our families when the time is right.

I know that finding the right person is Rizq from Allah, and I pray that He guides both of us towards what is best for our Dunya and Akhirah.
