Do you know that music is haram?
Yes — according to authentic hadith in Sahih Al-Bukhari and Qur’an 31:6.
The Prophet ﷺ used to cover his ears when passing by music.
All 4 madhhabs agreed on its prohibition, except for one isolated opinion by Ibn Hazm. And Imam Al-Albani refuted his doubts thoroughly.
The evidences are clear and available. like in Sahih Bukhari and Imam Albani, I encourage you to search and verify for yourself — seeking knowledge is worship.

So why do so many people still engage in it?
Ever wondered why?
Maybe it's because some people don't always do what they believe.
Or maybe, after hearing something often enough, they stop treating it as serious.
Then again, maybe the problem isn't that people don't know what's right. Maybe they know exactly what's right but convince themselves they're the exception.
Who knows?
The same thing that makes a person avoid a sin can also make another person justify it.
The difference is usually not knowledge, but what the heart wants.
Either way, if Islam says something is haram, the safest option is simple: avoid it.
