thoughts on a muslim also being a voice actor? i've seen many people support me but not very often do girls mess with it, so I just wanted some input on that

27M, moved to Jersey City about a year and a half ago and looking to make some friends around here
I’m originally from India and moved to the US about 5 years ago for my master’s, then moved to JC for work. Most of my friends from school are scattered around now, and since I work in tech/in-person 5 days a week, I’ve realized most of the people I regularly interact with are coworkers. Trying to change that lol.
Outside of work, I picked up boxing last year and do that on and off. I play video games on PC and console (story games mostly because I cannot aim on a controller), have AMC A-List and go to the movies pretty often, love Lego and board games, and recently got back into electric guitar and have been learning riffs/solos. I’ve also been wanting to get into running and I’m a huge cat person, currently considering adopting one.
Mostly just looking to meet people around my age, make some friends, and have a social circle outside of work. Down for movies, food, coffee, board games, gaming, exploring JC/NYC, or just hanging out.
