I’d like to share an experience . A while ago I reconnected with a ex from long ago , and I hoped to reconnect because we were really close and there was foul play from her friends . So we talked , things were okay , then she asked me if I was Christian, I told her no , told her im Muslim . And she immediately starts to mock my religion stating “ if you think I’m letting you have two or more wives , your crazy “ I told her that’s low and I don’t believe in having more than one wife :I wouldn’t want more than one -one is good enough. Then she says my people don’t believe that Jesus is God or the son of God and I told her that’s because he’s not , he isn’t in the bible either , that’s something Paul and the Church created and Paul never met Jesus. I started to try to educate her on Islam , that Allah swt is the only God and that the prophets prayed to the same God , she ends up stating that the prophets prayed to Jesus and Jesus prayed to himself and I realized I was talking to a brick wall at that point . So I stopped contact and she contacted me a month later talking about meeting up , I love coffee so she had me let’s get coffee, so we get coffee and she ends up giving me a bible and a bracelet and I respect all books but I was extremely offended by this action so I decided to kind of end the meet up early and she tells me I can’t be with her unless I choose Jesus as God and i ultimately made the best decision- I told her there is only one God and his name is Allah and I submit to the same merciful God as the prophets and the prophet that you claim is God . I’m good .

I don’t know if it was a test but I have never felt so much peace in my life. After that I truly prayed and asked Allah to send me to a Muslim woman where both of our lives would align . I asked Allah for forgiveness and mercy and I cried so much because I thought I let down Allah, I felt as if I failed and because I continued conversations with this individual even tho she kept offending me , but when I prayed and asked Allah for forgiveness, I felt comfort . And randomly seen a verse about staying firm in your faith , because it’s a promise to Paradise (41:30) and I’ve never been so proud to be a Muslim .

The problem is that the older we get, the harder the choice becomes 🤦🏼😐
