May Allah grant us someone who seeks a partner in faith, not merely someone to satisfy desire 🫡 because beauty will fade, bodies will age, but faith and good character remain. Don’t choose temporary pleasure over a love that leads you closer to Allah and Jannah ❤️

a person can be a great partner and still be the wrong person for you?

I joined Muzz hoping to find a life partner, never knowing that Allah had already planned who I would meet.

My husband and I spent our first month chatting and having voice calls on Muzz before our first video call. From the very beginning, he was incredibly polite and respectful, which made me feel comfortable enough to open up, be myself and freely share my thoughts. As we got to know each other, we discovered that our compatibility was far beyond what either of us had expected.

I then went for Umrah, where I prayed Istikhara. After returning to Dubai, he travelled all the way from Nottingham to meet me. We spent two weeks getting to know each other in person, and everything felt even more natural. He returned to Nottingham, and we began preparing for our future together.

On 4 August 2026, we had our Nikah. ❤️

Looking back, I’m so grateful I was brave enough to put myself out there and take that first step. Muzz was the means Allah chose to bring us together, and through it, I found the man He had planned for me.
❤️

👀 Can men and women really be just friends?

In today’s world, it’s common to hear people say, “We’re just friends.” But as Muslims, we should also ask ourselves where we draw the line between friendship, emotional attachment, and unnecessary closeness.

Can a man and a woman genuinely maintain a platonic friendship without either person eventually developing feelings? Or does spending a lot of time together, sharing personal matters, and becoming emotionally dependent naturally create a risk of something more?

Islam encourages us to protect our hearts, maintain healthy boundaries, and avoid situations that can lead us away from what is halal. That doesn’t mean we should be hostile or disrespectful toward the opposite gender—it means we should have wisdom, modesty, and clear boundaries.

I’d genuinely love to hear different perspectives from the Muslim community. Can men and women truly remain just friends, with absolutely no romantic feelings involved? And what boundaries do you believe are necessary to make that possible? 🤔
