Assalamualaikum. I want to share something that happened to me, and honestly, it still hurts when I think about it. 💔

About two months ago, I matched with a girl. We talked, and eventually she asked me to meet her family. I was genuinely happy because I thought maybe Allah had finally opened a door for me. I went to meet her family with a sincere heart and serious intentions.

But when I met her father, he said, “I’m sorry, son, but I cannot let my daughter marry you.”

I was completely shocked. I asked him, “Uncle, why? Did I do something wrong?”

He replied, “You are too tall. You look like a tower 🗼. My daughter’s height is normal, but your height is just too much. I’m sorry, son.”

I tried to smile, but honestly, something inside me broke that day. 😔💔

I looked at him and said, “Uncle, if my height was such a big problem, why didn’t your daughter tell me before? I came here because I was serious about her. I came with respect, hope, and a sincere heart.”

The painful part is that I never chose my height. Allah created me this way. I can accept someone saying, “You’re not the person I’m looking for.” That’s life, and I respect everyone’s choice.

But when someone rejects you because of something you cannot change, and then compares you to a tower 🗼, it really hurts. Especially when you went there with genuine intentions and hope in your heart.

That day I kept asking myself: What was my fault? Was I wrong for being tall? Was I wrong for taking her seriously? Was I wrong for coming to meet her family with an honest heart?

I honestly don't know. Maybe I wasn't the right person for them, and I accept that. But sometimes rejection hurts even when you did absolutely nothing wrong. 💔

So tell me, my friends… what was my fault in all of this? 😔

Finding a life partner is harder than finding good Wi-Fi 😂

Here hoping the Muzz algorithm finally does its job. 👀

If you’re funny, genuine, and actually know how to keep a conversation going… say hi 😄

As Salam Alykum Waramotullahi Wabarakatuhu

I pray you don’t end up marrying someone who doesn’t know your value, appreciate your efforts, or cherish everything you bring into their life.

I pray Almighty Allah blesses you with a playful, caring, generous and protective spouse, someone who will value you, love you sincerely, support you, protect you, and most importantly, help you grow closer to Allah and increase your īmān. Ameen. 🤲🏽🤍
