Real life is NOT romance novels or romantic comedy movies or Lebanese love songs.

Real life has harsh realities, most of which I’ve never faced and am sheltered and protected from by my strong husband. So if there’s a small little thing he doesn’t have the time or energy to do just so or exactly to my liking maybe, just maybe, I can find it in my heart to excuse the poor man.

Truths You Should Know Before Dating a Woman in Her 40s or 50s ❤️

  1. She values peace.
She has less patience for unnecessary drama, arguments, and emotional chaos.
  2. She knows what she wants.
She may not have time for confusing situations, mixed signals, or relationships without direction.
  3. Consistency matters more than sweet words.
She pays attention to what you do—not just what you say or promise.
  4. She won’t chase you for attention.
If the effort becomes one-sided, she may simply step back and let you go.
  5. Respect is everything.
How you speak to her, treat her, and handle disagreements matters deeply.
  6. She may have learned from past relationships.
Her experiences have taught her what she will—and will not—accept.
  7. She wants genuine love, not games.
At this stage of life, many women are looking for companionship, honesty, emotional maturity, stability, and someone they can truly trust.

Dating a woman in her 40s or 50s isn’t about her being difficult. It’s about understanding that she may have grown into a woman who knows her worth, values her peace, and is no longer willing to settle for less than she deserves.

And I would add one more:

  1. She wants a partner, not another responsibility.
She has built a life, raised a family, faced challenges, and learned to stand on her own. She is looking for a man who is emotionally mature, financially responsible, has a stable life and career, and is ready to build a future together—not someone who expects her to carry him through life.

A mature woman doesn’t ask for perfection. She asks for honesty, consistency, respect, effort, stability, and genuine intention. ❤️

Why is it hard for some girls to share or open up there feelings to a guy they like.
Is it something bad or they don't just like to take that bold step.

Just to be clear about what I’m looking for…

I’m looking for a man who has a stable job, is financially responsible, and is capable of building and supporting a life together as husband and wife in the future.

I believe marriage is a partnership, but I also believe a man should be able to take responsibility for his role as a husband and contribute towards the household and our shared life. I am not looking for someone who has no stable source of income, has no clear direction in life, and expects me to financially support him after marriage.

I’ve worked hard for my own life, and I’m not looking to become someone’s financial provider after marriage. I want a partner who can stand on his own feet, just as I do.

So, if your intention is to find a woman who will support you financially and carry your responsibilities after marriage, I’m simply NOT the right person for you.

For me, that’s a BIG NO. 🚫

I’m not being demanding — I’m simply being honest about my expectations from the beginning. I would rather be clear now than disappoint each other later.

I’m the kind of person who doesn’t like being forced into anything. When I’ve said something, I mean it — my decision is final.

I value respect, boundaries, and the freedom to make my own choices. So once you start pushing, pressuring, or trying to force me into something I’ve already said no to, that’s when you lose your place in my life.

I’m not being difficult. I simply know what I want, and I expect my boundaries to be respected. Once you cross that line, then it’s time for you to walk out. No hard feelings — just no second chances.

While the haze is lingering outside, my daughter and I are taking a little break from the busy day, just chilling at AMPM Voco after our grocery shopping at The Gourmand. ☕️🍰✨

Sipping on our flat white and chocolate smoothie, enjoying some delicious cakes, and simply soaking in this precious mother-daughter time. 🤎

Sometimes, it’s the simple moments like these that make the day feel extra special. 🥰
