When they recite, it feels like I am there with them — reciting together, praising our Lord, and walking toward the same destination.
They are my teacher, my brother, and my friend. Listening to them fills my heart with love and respect; sometimes I even feel like kissing their forehead out of affection.
I have always wished to become a beautiful reciter myself. At times I feel regret and jealousy, but it comes from my deep love for the Qur’an. I pray that one day my recitation will touch hearts, and even after I am gone, people will still play it and remember me through it.
