Marriage is not just about attraction, careers, or appearances. It is about finding someone with whom you can worship Allah, grow together, and build a peaceful home.

The Prophet ﷺ taught us to look for righteousness and good character. In my humble opinion, these are the qualities that matter most:

• Deen comes first. A spouse who fears Allah will respect, support, and stand by you through every stage of life.

• Good character is just as important as beauty. Kindness, honesty, patience, and respect make a marriage successful.

• Be sincere from the beginning. If you’re not ready for marriage, it’s better to say so than to give someone false hope or waste their time.

I’ve been searching sincerely for quite some time, making du’a and trusting Allah’s plan. Unfortunately, I’ve also come across many people who weren’t serious about marriage and only ended up wasting time and playing with genuine feelings. May Allah guide us all to be honest with one another.

I’m not looking for perfection just someone who sincerely wants to build a halal life together, support each other in this dunya, and help each other reach Jannah, in shaa Allah.

May Allah bless everyone who is searching with a righteous spouse, put barakah in their marriage, and unite them with what is best for their deen and dunya. Ameen. 🤲
