THE PROPHET ﷺ MENTIONED SIDR
SIDR LEAVES (LOTЕ TREE)
Sidr leaves (lote-tree leaves) are mentioned in the Qur’an and were also used during the time of the Prophet ﷺ
The Qur’an says:
“Among lote trees without thorns.”
— Surah Al-Waqi‘ah 56:28
The Prophet ﷺ also mentioned Sidr in relation to washing the deceased.
He ﷺ said:
“Wash her three times, or five times, or more than that if you think necessary, with water and Sidr, and put camphor in the last washing…”
— Sahih al-Bukhari 1253

HOW SIDR IS USED FOR HAIR
Sidr is traditionally used as a natural hair cleanser.
It is commonly used for:
• Cleansing the scalp and hair
• Removing excess oil and buildup
• Keeping the scalp feeling fresh
• Gently cleansing without harsh shampoo
────────────────────
HOW TO USE SIDR FOR HAIR
Mix 2–3 tbsp Sidr powder with warm water to make a paste.
Apply the paste to your scalp and hair roots.
Leave it for 15–30 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly with water.

A BEAUTIFUL NATURAL REMINDER
Allah has blessed us with many natural things that can benefit us.
But remember: the hair-care method above is a traditional/natural-use method, not a specific Sunnah method taught by the Prophet ﷺ.
Healing and benefit ultimately come from Allah.

Salaam alaykum all and I hope you are rocking it. I have been on a bit of a journey, still on it. About 3 weeks ago, I started on my ADHD medication. I managed 2 and a half weeks however, the side effects were really bad. I came off the meds and started different ones. My, what a difference. A few minor side effects but nothing I can't handle. My mood has been a bit up and down but, im still here and still sticking with it. I can see light at the end of the tunnel.
On the flip side, I have had to deal with morons, telling me to recite certain ayats or duas. Apparently that will cure me. I'm not broken, I have a superpower and, the medication just harnesses it. I whole heartedly believe in the power of the almighty and my deen. Allah has given me a gift, I can do things that neurotypical people can't. I can juggle multiple tasks and, I just keep going.
Never be undermined, you are not broken or need fixing. You are beautiful, just like a classic car or a 16th century cottage. Unfortunately, there is so much misinformation and ignorance out there. I'm not ashamed of my conditions, I refuse to hide or be silent. This is my world, my life, given to me by Allah. I love being me, being different and bonkers. I smile every day and I am grateful for what I have. We are so much stronger than we think. Allah has given us tools to tackle situations. There is no easy fix, no single tablet or a single recitation. There is us, with Allah in our heart. You are beautiful, you are whatever you want to be, you are Allah's children. Love life, love each other, love nature and more importantly, love yourselves. Sending love and positivity to you all ❤️
