I recently encountered a client who asked me to contribute to his website during development. But the site promotes gambling. I refused it.
And then the client asked me, don't you use banks? Banks are Haram, too, and there are many more examples.

I usually respond to these types of questions with, I use a bank, but I do not accept Riba. And even if I do 3,686 more sins, I can still hope to avoid some particular way of life. Islam is not a waterfall sprint.

The client is Muslim. But I matched with another guy one day, who thinks he shouldn't keep a beard because society needs zakat regulations. Because in the Quran, zakat is mentioned more times than the beard. So zakat comes first.

But my point is, even if someone doesn't pray, they can still feed a stray cat, right? Or do they need to first pray and then make other improvements?

I think their POV is not right. Correct me if I am wrong
