I'm 37 years old. I'm divorced and no children. I'm a Chinese Muslima. engaged in foreign trade. Because of my work needs, I can speak fluent English and Turkish a little Hidi. learning Italian. Because I work and live in a city 5,000 kilometers away from my family , so I've long been used to mature thinking and choices. I just want to find someone who can agree with me in terms of work and life, get married and start a family in 3-4 months.

I’d like to ask both men and women here for your thoughts, if you don’t mind.

Have you ever just started getting to know someone on a dating app, only to be asked about your job and salary so early on?

I’ve been wondering, do men consider a woman’s job and income among the main factors when looking for a future wife? Or is there another reason for asking these questions so early in the conversation?

I understand that finances are important in marriage. But to me, getting to know someone’s character, honesty, values, and sense of responsibility is just as important.

After all, a good income alone doesn’t guarantee honesty or compatibility in a relationship, right? 😊

I’m simply curious to understand how people think about this when looking for a life partner. Please don’t get me wrong, I’m just interested in hearing different perspectives.

NO NEED TO CHASE, JUST STRIVE, PRAY, AND WAIT

To my dear friends who have been left behind...
No matter how hard you search or how much you pray — if it is not destined by Allah, it will never be yours.
Remember, especially we women: We are created to be pursued, not to chase. Never lower your dignity for anything unworthy. If you have to chase, it was never meant for you.

Yet, effort is essential. Being here, seeking, and connecting — this is our way of striving, asking only for what pleases Allah. Life is short; live in His fear, seek only His pleasure. Happiness needs two things: PRAYER and EFFORT.

But after trying and praying, if there is no peace or result... know: It is simply NOT YET WRITTEN for you.

Keep going until you find the best. Trust this deeply: Every meeting that ends without outcome means Allah is protecting you. He holds back not to disappoint, but to prepare something far more beautiful and worthy.

So be patient, surrender, and accept. The fruit of sincerity and patience is true happiness, revealed by Allah at the perfect time.

Do not worry. What is truly yours will come to you naturally. Stay strong... Allah never wastes your efforts. 🤲

Losing a spouse can leave a pain that words cannot fully explain. But losing someone you love does not mean your own story must end there. You can honour the memories of your late spouse and still give yourself permission to love again. Do not allow guilt, fear, or people's opinions to make decisions for your heart. Take your time to heal, and when you are ready, choose someone who respects your past, understands your pain, and genuinely wants to share your future. You deserve companionship, happiness, and a new beginning whenever you feel ready.

Why widow people are too strong? They have noor? On their face, because of their patience?
