I recently ended a short relationship because I realized that trust is built on actions, not words.
Looking back, I believe Allah answered my prayer, not by making everything work out, but by exposing the inconsistencies I couldn’t ignore.
This experience taught me an important lesson: don’t ignore red flags just because someone talks about marriage or has good intentions. Watch their actions. Consistency, honesty, and accountability matter far more than promises.
Sometimes Allah protects us not by giving us what we want, but by showing us what we need to walk away from.
Alhamdulillah for every unanswered prayer that was actually protection.
