Sometimes I wonder how different life would be if we could see the moment Allah first started guiding our hearts.
A conversation.
A question.
A difficult experience.
A verse we happened to hear.
A person who entered our life at exactly the right time.
We may think we found Islam at a certain moment, but perhaps Allah had been bringing us towards that moment long before we even realised it.
Alhamdulillah for every step that brought us closer to Him.

For the reverts here: what made you choose Islam?

I was privileged enough to cross paths with a revert brother recently. We spoke on a few occasions of his journey to the deen and the impact of life-altering decisions on the social circle and family life.
From the loneliness epidemic plaguing many revert brothers and sisters, to the strife of family disagreement of their journey to Islam.
To the darkest corners of the mind space being subject to abuses, taken advantage of, tested, ridiculed, and cast out.
Genuinely have been given priceless insight and can say with certainty that I have a profound sense of alignment, respect and admiration for all revert brother and sisters who overcome such odds at times which go against the world as they knew, and how to navigate emotionally through the various relationships in those spaces too. You all are truly the chosen people who have been invited in to do the work.
May Allah keep your paths blessed and your imaan protected like your lives depend on it inshallah.
