Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barahkatuh 😊

📜 The Four Recognized Schools (Madhahib) of Islamic Jurisprudence

These are the four major Sunni schools of Fiqh — all accept Quran & Sunnah as foundation; differ only in methodology of interpretation, not core faith .

  1. -🕌 Hanafi — Imam Abu Hanifa (d. 767 CE)
  • -Oldest, most widely followed school
  • -Origin: Kufa, Iraq
  • -Key: Emphasizes reason, analogy (qiyas), juristic preference (istihsan) — flexible & adaptable
  • -Followed in: Turkey, Central Asia, South Asia (Pakistan, India, Bangladesh), Balkans
  1. -🕌 Maliki — Imam Malik ibn Anas (d. 795 CE)
  • -Origin: Madinah, Saudi Arabia
  • -Key: Emphasizes practice of the people of Madinah as living Sunnah; also considers public interest (maslaha)
  • -Followed in: North & West Africa, parts of Gulf
  1. -🕌 Shafi'i — Imam al-Shafi'i (d. 820 CE)
  • -Origin: Makkah/Madinah → settled in Egypt
  • -Key: Systematized Usul al-Fiqh (legal theory); balanced approach — equal weight to Quran, Sunnah, consensus, analogy
  • -Followed in: Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia), East Africa, Yemen
  1. -🕌 Hanbali — Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal (d. 855 CE)
  • -Origin: Baghdad, Iraq
  • -Key: Most text-focused — strict adherence to Quran & Hadith; minimal use of analogy; cautious with reason
  • -Followed in: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, parts of Gulf

🕊️ Important Truth

  • -All four are valid & recognized — they respect one another
  • -Differences are in method & interpretation, not core Islam
  • -All share: same Quran, same Prophet ﷺ, same fundamentals of faith

"The difference of opinion among my Ummah is a mercy." — (Scholarly saying) 🤲✨

May Allah Subanallah Wu'wata'allah keep us steadfast in His Deen together

Aameen

Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barahkatuh

For information ONLY....So that We are Steadfast in TRUE Deen....not be mislead
Because I presumed some in this App are
Allah Subanallah Wu'wata'allah know Best ☝️

⚖️ Distinctive Shia Beliefs

  1. -Imamate — The Core Difference
  • -Believe Prophet ﷺ divinely appointed Ali ibn Abi Talib as his successor at Ghadir Khumm
  • -Leadership must stay in the Prophet’s family (Ahlul Bayt) through Ali & Fatimah’s lineage
  • -Imams are divinely chosen, infallible, sinless, with special spiritual knowledge
  • -Twelvers (largest branch): 12 Imams; 12th went into occultation and will return as Mahdi at the end of time
  1. -Succession View
  • -Reject first 3 Caliphs (Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman) as rightful leaders; believe Ali should have been first
  • -Sunni position: Caliph chosen by community consensus; not divinely appointed
  1. -Additional Principles
  • -Adl: Divine Justice — central pillar; Allah is absolutely just
  • -Intercession & Tawassul: Seeking closeness to Allah through the Prophet & Imams
  • -Taqiya: Allowed to conceal faith under extreme persecution
  • -Muta: Temporary marriage — permitted in Shia, forbidden in Sunni
  1. -Religious Practices
  • -Combine certain prayers; different jurisprudence school (Ja'fari)
  • -Central emphasis on mourning Imam Husayn’s martyrdom at Karbala (Ashura)

🕊️ Difference

Both share the same Quran and love the Prophet ﷺ. Differences center on leadership succession, religious authority, and specific theological interpretations — not the fundamentals of Islam itself.

May Allah guide us all to what pleases Him, keep us united in the love of His Messenger ﷺ, and grant us understanding with wisdom and respect. 🤲

Muzz is really testing my patience 😭 At this point Muzz needs an honesty button 🤭 Some people say one thing on their profile and then surprise you with something completely different later. 🥴 Some people are very honest about what they want while others hide important things. It’s not fair to people who are genuinely serious about marriage. Finding honesty on Muzz feels like a treasure hunt! 😤😂

I see the silhouette of my muslimah, illuminating my imagination with her nur,

All of my ideas and thoughts because of her feel so pure.

I’m eager to get closer so I can see the face from which the light emanates. And experience her smile, her quirks. I cannot concentrate.

I’ve forgotten that people surround me, yet my face gives nothing away.

if only the walis knew my intention,

They’d line up on their daughters behalf

but they already swiped left.

I wish they had given me a chance.
