@SiddJ
Iblis said that he would mislead and tempt human beings:
“Because You have put me in error, I will surely sit in wait for them on Your straight path. Then I will come to them from before them, from behind them, from their right and from their left, and You will not find most of them grateful.”
— Qur’an 7:16–17
He also said:
“I will surely take an appointed portion of Your servants. And I will surely mislead them, and I will arouse in them false desires…”
— Qur’an 4:118–119
And in Qur’an 15:39–40, Iblis says:
“My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make disobedience attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all, except Your chosen servants among them.”
Iblis did not make a promise to Allah in the sense of making a righteous pledge or covenant. Rather, he declared his intention and challenge to mislead humanity. Allah allowed him a period of respite, but also made clear that Iblis would have no authority over Allah’s sincere servants.
Allah says:
“Indeed, My servants—you have no authority over them, except those who follow you of the deviators.”
— Qur’an 15:42
@3OmarZayed
I am interested to know reverts thoughts on this.
Do you prioritize memorising the Quran, properly pronouncing the Quran, or understanding the meaning of the Quran?

Reflect on this:
The watermelon seller reveals the sweetest watermelon, but no one buys it in the end.
There is a lesson in this. What is precious is not meant to be put on display for everyone. The more something is kept protected and private, the more its value and dignity are preserved.
And this is something I need to remind myself of first, before advising anyone else.
Dearest sisters, what is the benefit of posting pictures of yourself wearing the niqāb?
It is truly saddening to see how social media has affected some of our sisters, to the point that even a sister who wears niqāb and tries to practise her Deen no longer feels any shyness about posting pictures of herself online.
Remember, The niqāb is an act of worship. It is something done for Allah , not something to be displayed for people.
So we need to be careful. An act of worship can lose its sincerity when we start seeking people’s attention through it. The Prophet ﷺ warned us about riyaa’ and described it as a form of minor shirk .
Niqāb was never meant to become another form of fashion or content for social media. The niqāb is for ibādah, not for attention.
May Allah ﷻ give us a true understanding of the Deen, protect our sincerity, and fill our hearts with ḥayā. Amīin.
@Savannamedinalopez
what are your requirements for marriage and your future spouse? I’m curious because I’ve seen a lot of complaints on the main page 😂
