There's something incredibly moving about someone choosing Islam when they could have simply continued living the life they already knew.

They had questions.

They searched.

They struggled.

And eventually their heart said, "This is the truth."

For some, accepting Islam means learning a new way to pray.

For others, it means explaining their choice to family or feeling alone during celebrations.

Yet they keep going.

I think that's something we born Muslims should reflect on sometimes.

We inherited something that someone else would give almost anything to find.

Alhamdulillah for Islam.

Being born into a Muslim family is a blessing, but finding your own way to Islam takes a completely different kind of strength. A revert's faith isn't just inherited, it is earned. Having a conversation with a revert always reminds me of what truly matters and makes me want to be a better Muslim myself.

I find it extremely hard having Muslim friends who are in the middle. Either extremes of practicing and everything about your lifestyle is haram and they are judgmental or you just end right back up hanging around non Muslim. I don’t know if anyone has had the same experiences?
