It is haraam for a chaste person to choose a spouse who is a zani.

While Allah forgives zanis if they truly repent, He instructs them to marry a fellow zani.

This instruction can be easily interpreted as referring to the specific individual with whom they shared physical intimacy.

If they repent and reform, that matter remains between them and Allah.

He addresses it in great detail at the beginning of Surah An-Nur (24:3) where zanis and those who commit shirk are grouped together. Why?

Allah forbids only what is harmful to you.

Chaste people will often pick up on the warning signs that someone is a zani, so those signals should not be ignored.

Because zanis frequently have a habit of committing zina repeatedly, they may display lustful behaviour or flirt excessively.

You should ask potential partners about their relationship history to verify whether they are zanis.

Do anot commit to harm; do not commit to a zani.

The Jamaat side is putting me off Muzz. I joined Muzz on Monday. I am seeing on this side how the men and women really feel. They are bitter, have too much time for debating and there's a lot of immature gender war stuff.

It makes me worried that the Muzz marriage side probably doesn't have the right people either? I'm a doctor and my bio is very detailed about what I am and what I want. Would I be correct in hoping that the kind of person I attract might be the type who doesn't hang and engage in the troll posts I've seen around Jamaat side? I only come here as this is where I have been redirected when my chat slots are full but very slow (they reply about once or twice a day but I respect it as hard jobs most of them). I need to actively avoid it but I feel the damage and disillusionment has already been done in these few days, I've already started engaging in some of the gender based comments and replying to what is obvious rage bait
