Software update:

This one is for those who struggle to understand the importance of educating yourselves.

Pick Me

The definition that you probably have is the old definition. The newer variation of "pick-me" is now used for anyone seeking attention collectively by weaponising gender dynamics as well as tearing down a person or group to get a dedicated echo chamber to validate you.

A "pick-me" is a slang term for a person who acts in an attention-seeking or disingenuous way to gain the approval of others.

This title is now reserved for those who aggressively slander, mock, or hate on men or women solely to gain popularity, validation, and likes from platforms. In the case of a female creator targeting a man, she doesn't necessarily care about the issue, she just wants people (other Pick Me’s) in the comments section validation-dumping phrases like "Omg queen, yes!" or “clock it”. It’s literally in the words: “ladies and gents, pick me, validate me, like my comment PICK ME” (choose my side over theirs). Boys and Girls The term is entirely gender-neutral!

Today, it is less about a person of interest wanting to date you, and much more about farming clout, likes, and digital applause by tearing down an entire gender regardless of one's own identity.

• Tearing down a person or group to get a dedicated echo chamber to validate you is a massive trend in digital content.

• The Universal "Pick Me" Action: At its core, a pick-me is someone acting disingenuously for social approval.

• The Validation Loop: The ultimate goal is the feedback loop in the comments section, chasing viral phrases like "Omg queen, yes!", "Clock it," or "Louder for the people in the back!", or even jumping to conclusions whilst projecting your own traumas upon society.

• Truly Gender-Neutral: It strips away the historical gender bias of the term, applying it equally to anyone using identity politics and gender wars as a stepping stone for internet fame.

• Evolution: This modern evolution shows how social media metrics (likes, shares, views) have weaponised traditional social behavior. It's no longer just "pick me" for love, it's "pick me" for the algorithm.

• Currency: In the past, the currency was direct male or female attention. Today, the true currency is algorithmic engagement (comments, shares, saves, and likes).

So whilst the old definition is still valid and very much used, the spectrum has broadened, and fits a different purpose on the internet and social media today. I hope this clears any uncertainty behind the phrase.

Why is so complicated to find someone normal following what our deen says??

If it's not the looks, it's the financial situation or any other thing .

It looks like nobody has in mind what you got to offer as a person, If you truly follow your deen and always trying to be your best version.

Being nice, emphatic, affectionate, caring.
All of these things matters when there's a purpose behind to benefit from it.
If not, you are just another random men in their full list of guys.

What a world we live in!!

The wind will carry the sound of the waves that whisper..

With the whisper will come the tides that will try and pull you back.

Hold on to your rope and remain steadfast.
