@asiframzan
I am a very strong believer in the power of strong circles of mentorship, inter-generational dialogue and support. One of the biggest problems in the youth today is wanting to have the finished product upfront.
That TikTok and reeks driven dopamine curve they’re chasing of seeing the person fully refined, developed, completed and straight off the production line ready to sign the nikkah. Unfortunately it doesn’t that way in the real world with all the nuances of being human and the flaws of being imperfect.
This is why it’s important to all the OLDER brothers out there (myself included) you must spend time and bond with the youth, listen to their concerns but DO NOT trauma dump on them and give them bad advice which will only isolate them further in their search of a spouse.
The core purpose of being at the age we are is that help the youth navigate rough terrain and empower them to make sense of their complex world around them. A young man could be unsure whether to pursue a certain woman for marriage, his heart might say she’s good and his youth may cloud his judgement, so therefore it’s important I think that social meet-ups between older and younger men are done regularly and offer support and guidance on a range of life matters and we have to coach the men of tomorrow to be better prepared to be the qawwam of tomorrow and be ambassadors of the deen inshallah.

Some relationships are like this
As long as there is a purpose, people keep talking.
As soon as the purpose is over, the conversation ends too.

Facts. All broken down quite well and balanced.

Assalamu ‘alaykum everyone,
I’ve decided to put this out there like a slightly unconventional marriage advert. 😂
I’m 36, Bengali British, based in East London, divorced with two young children. I’m looking for a companion first and a stepdad second. My ex and I co-parent well, the kids are happy, loved and well looked after, and they’re with their dad every weekend. I’m not looking for someone to step in and take over — I’m looking for someone to build a good life with.
What I’m looking for:
I’m open to any ethnicity. Ideally, you’re a divorced father who doesn’t want any more children, aged around 33–39.
Someone who:
Is reasonably educated and intellectually curious.
Is open to living together part-time initially, before eventually moving in full-time.
Is financially stable and has his life reasonably together.
Is a good father and a good son.
Fulfils his basic fardhs.
Is over 5'6" — we all have our preferences. 😂
Isn’t a simp or a hothead. A happy medium would be ideal.
Can hold a conversation, joke around and have fun.
Doesn’t take everything too seriously, but knows when to be serious.
Faces problems head-on rather than running away from them.
Is a fixer, not a problem-maker.
Has his own hobbies, interests and passions — I like someone who has a life of his own too.
Is reasonably attractive. I’m not asking for a model, but I do have eyes. 😂
Is clean, well-groomed and takes care of himself — but preferably not prettier than me.
Lives in London or nearby.
Ideally has his own property.
Has a car, or is genuinely willing to get one. 🚗
A little about me:
I have a degree, can hold a conversation and have been told I’m alright-looking, so I’ll take that. 😂
I fulfil my basic fardhs, I’m very loyal, chaste (Alhamdulillah — thought I’d mention it given the world we live in), passionate about the things I love and believe in, and I like to keep things interesting.
I’m not the best cook, but you won’t go hungry inshaAllah. I enjoy a good laugh, can be hilarious at times, and I’ve still got plenty of youthful energy.
Ultimately, I’m looking for something genuine, peaceful, fun and lasting. Someone I can laugh with, have meaningful conversations with, face life’s challenges alongside and build a strong marriage with.
If this sounds like you, message me.
Please don’t waste either of our time if you’re not genuinely serious about marriage. 😊
May Allah grant us what is best for us in both this life and the next, and bless us with spouses who are a source of sakinah, love and barakah. Ameen. 🤍
Assalamu ‘alaykum.
I have a question
It’s a religious one
If you have been making abundant duas to meet your dream partner including thahajjud and have been searching for quite some time and I mean a while!! but to no avail does that mean it’s a sign to let go And accept being alone?
I read somewhere if the almighty has written someone for u then he will put that feeling in you to search and continue no matter what
Because that person is there but hasn’t come your way yet. With me I’d meet them and it just never works or develops,
I’m aware everything is a test and to show sabr but when do u truly know it’s over because I know not everyone is destined to be married
I’m in my mid 40s divorced single mum, if u look at the ratio my chance is probably 20% of finding the one
Pls tell me… what are the clues or signs to know that your close to finding it or it’s never happening because consciously we’re all thinking that this has an age limit so stop wasting time and money and maybe move abroad abroad for good
