🌷🤍 The Extraordinary Virtues of Sadaqah (Charity)

Charity is far more than giving from what we possess. It is an act of faith, a source of blessings, and a means of seeking Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.

Reflect upon these six beautiful virtues of Sadaqah:

1️⃣ A Source of Blessings

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Charity does not decrease wealth.”
— Sahih Muslim (2588)

What we give for Allah’s sake is never lost in His sight. Through charity, we seek His blessings in our wealth and reward in the Hereafter.

2️⃣ A Means of Seeking Healing

Charity may be offered with the sincere hope that Allah grants healing and relief to those who are ill, alongside prayer and appropriate medical treatment.

3️⃣ An Expiation for Sins

The Prophet ﷺ taught that charity extinguishes sins just as water extinguishes fire.

— Jami‘ at-Tirmidhi (2616)

4️⃣ A Source of Shade on the Day of Judgment

The Prophet ﷺ taught that a person will be under the shade of their charity until judgment is passed between people.

— Musnad Ahmad (17333)

5️⃣ A Means of Protection from the Fire

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Protect yourselves from the Fire, even with half a date.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari (1417)

6️⃣ A Proof of Sincere Faith

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Charity is proof.”
— Sahih Muslim (223)

For sincere generosity reflects a heart that values Allah’s pleasure above attachment to worldly possessions.

🤍 How beautiful that something we give away for the sake of Allah can become a source of blessings, forgiveness, and immense reward.

🌷🤍 الصدقة عجيبةٌ في فضلها، عظيمةٌ في أجرها، مباركةٌ في آثارها.

ليست الصدقة مجرد مالٍ تُخرجه من يدك، بل عبادةٌ تتقرّب بها إلى الله، وبابٌ من أبواب البرّ والإحسان، وسببٌ من أسباب الرحمة والمغفرة.

تأمّل ستًّا من فضائل الصدقة العظيمة:

1️⃣ بركةٌ في المال

قال رسول الله ﷺ:

«مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ».
— رواه مسلم (٢٥٨٨).

فما تُنفقه ابتغاء وجه الله لا يضيع أجره، بل ترجى به البركة في المال، وعظيم الثواب في الآخرة.

2️⃣ رجاءٌ في الشفاء والعافية

من أبواب الرجاء أن تتصدّق عن المريض، سائلًا الله أن يمنّ عليه بالشفاء والعافية، مع الدعاء والأخذ بأسباب العلاج.

3️⃣ تكفيرٌ للخطايا

قال رسول الله ﷺ:

«وَالصَّدَقَةُ تُطْفِئُ الْخَطِيئَةَ كَمَا يُطْفِئُ الْمَاءُ النَّارَ».
— رواه الترمذي (٢٦١٦).

4️⃣ ظلٌّ يوم القيامة

قال رسول الله ﷺ:

«كُلُّ امْرِئٍ فِي ظِلِّ صَدَقَتِهِ حَتَّى يُفْصَلَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ».
— رواه أحمد (١٧٣٣٣).

5️⃣ وقايةٌ من النار

قال رسول الله ﷺ:

«اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ».
— رواه البخاري (١٤١٧).

فلا تستصغر صدقةً مهما قلّت، فقد يعظم عند الله أجر ما تراه يسيرًا.

6️⃣ برهانٌ على صدق الإيمان

قال رسول الله ﷺ:

«وَالصَّدَقَةُ بُرْهَانٌ».
— رواه مسلم (٢٢٣).

فهي دليلٌ على صدق إيمان العبد، وحسن رجائه فيما عند الله، وتقديم مرضاته على التعلّق بمتاع الدنيا.

🤍 ما أعظم الصدقة! تُخرجها من مالك، فيبقى لك أجرها، وترجو بها بركةً في دنياك، ورفعةً في آخرتك.

اللهم اجعلنا من أهل الصدقة والإحسان، وبارك لنا فيما رزقتنا، وطهّر قلوبنا من الشحّ، وارزقنا الإخلاص في العطاء، وتقبّل منا صالح الأعمال.

I really need find a work from home job

Volunteering in the charity field, I realised that no one works for free. All these influencers you see, they get paid or have free deployments handed to them. But I guess I understand it, because they bring in like 75% more funds compared to being payed 25% or something of the sort.
