Narrated Al-Ahnaf ibn Qais:
While I was going to help a man, Abu Bakra (رضي الله عنه) met me and asked where I was going.
I replied that I was going to help him.
Abu Bakra told me to return, saying that he had heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) say:
“When two Muslims fight each other with their swords, both the murderer as well as the murdered will go to the Hell-fire.”
I asked, “O Allah's Messenger! It is all right for the murderer, but what about the murdered one?”
He replied:
“He surely had the intention to kill his companion.”

Imagine upsetting a heart that is beloved to Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala. Our interactions of how we treat Allah’s creation (we shouldn’t even harm an ant) is basically linked to our connection to Allah.

🤎🕊️ The Greatest Struggle Is Often the One Within.
The soul is naturally drawn towards desires, temptations, and heedlessness. Resisting these inclinations is among the most demanding struggles on the journey towards Allah.
Yet within this struggle lies a beautiful expression of sincere faith, self-discipline, and devotion.
Every time you resist a temptation, overcome a weakness, or choose obedience over desire, you are striving for something far greater than momentary satisfaction: the pleasure of Allah.
The path of righteousness may require patience, sacrifice, and perseverance, but no sincere effort made for Allah’s sake is ever in vain.
🤎 For what could be more worthy of our striving than Allah’s pleasure, His forgiveness, and the eternal bliss of Jannah?

🤎🕊️ إنّ من أعظم ميادين المجاهدة، مجاهدةَ النفس.
فالنفسُ أمّارةٌ بالسوء، قد تميل إلى الشهوات، وتستجيب لدواعي الهوى والغفلة، ومجاهدتُها من أشقّ ما يواجهه العبد في سيره إلى الله.
غير أنّ في هذه المجاهدة برهانًا على صدق العزيمة، وقوة الإرادة، والإخلاص في طلب رضوان الله.
فكلّما قاوم العبد شهوةً تُبعده عن طاعة الله، أو غلب ضعفًا في نفسه، أو آثر رضا ربّه على هوى قلبه، كان ذلك من صدق مجاهدته، ومن أسباب تزكية نفسه ورفعة منزلته.
وإن كان طريق الاستقامة محفوفًا بالمشاقّ، ويتطلّب صبرًا وثباتًا ومغالبةً للنفس، فإنّ ما عند الله أعظم وأبقى.
فما من مجاهدةٍ صادقةٍ ابتغاء وجه الله إلا ونرجو لصاحبها عظيم الأجر وحُسن الجزاء.
🤎 وأيُّ غايةٍ أعظم من رضوان الله، ومغفرته، والفوز بجنّته؟
اللهم أعنّا على مجاهدة أنفسنا، وتهذيب نفوسنا، والثبات على طاعتك، وارزقنا الإخلاص في القول والعمل، وحُسن الخاتمة، والفوز برضوانك وجنّتك. 🤍

If Allah has written our destiny, why should we make dua and work hard?
Because our dua and efforts are also part of Allah’s plan.
We should do our best, pray sincerely, and trust Allah. 🤲
