I want to try to understand this:

So I’ve noticed a lot of men on here like to give a lot of advice on here, which clearly comes with their assumptions. Right off the bat, we dont know anything about each other, but im getting a lot of unsolicited advice. Also, persistent advice. Like if I say, I tried that and it didnt work out for me. Still insisting I do what they say/ advise.

I dont see anything wrong with men providing some guidance to their spouse or women in their family. Granted it has to be a man that well respected for their knowledge, actions, behavior, etc. but when its a woman you dont know at all, just started speaking to .2 seconds ago, why? Its starting to get annoying. Is it because I’m a revert or is this common?

A thought...

Some conversations don't feel like two adults getting to know each other. They feel more like one person is conducting an interview while expecting the other person to prove their worth.

Just because someone reaches out with marriage intentions doesn't mean the other person is winning a lottery. Likewise, just because someone enjoys posting about marriage with a bit of humor doesn't mean they're desperate to get married, it could just their playful nature.

If you ask personal questions, be willing to answer personal questions.
If you expect transparency, be transparent.
If you expect respect, show respect.

Marriage isn't a prize that one person "wins." It's two people trying to determine whether they're compatible.
Humility, honesty, curiosity, and mutual respect takes a conversation much further.

Can we discuss dinner invitation etiquette?
I was invited to this dinner yesterday at 7, it was for several familes, men separated from women. But the food wasn't served unt after Maghreb which was at 8:30. I heard a sister saying that she was hungry an hour into waiting, and asked when is the food was gonna be ready? Couples sisters gave her a "feel shame" look, and another sister said she has "no filter". I was hungry as well, haven't eaten for hours and had extensive workout that day.
What do you guys think?
A- Was the sister right to say she was hungry?
B- Dinner should have been served at 7/7:30?
C- Maybe just make an excuse and leave to go eat somewhere else?
Muslims are known for this. They serve lunch/dinner 1-2 hrs later. Lol

Some chapters end without an explanation, not because they lacked meaning, but because they had already taught you everything you needed to know.
