Assalamu Alaikum everyone, šø
At this rate, Iām convinced none of us are getting married because the marriage side of Muzz is just broken and very dissappointing lol
Since I havenāt managed to get myself married yet, I figured I might as well try getting one of you married instead. ššø
Inspired by the beautiful initiative that the Indian community has been running on Jamaa (may Allah bless everyone involved š¤), I wanted to run a little manual matchmaking experiment for the Bangladeshi community living abroad š¤š
After speaking to countless sisters, listening to their experiences, complaints, frustrations, and observations, I started noticing recurring patterns. So Iāve put together a highly specific matchmaking system to hopefully cut through some of the chaos. If this goes well, Iād be happy to do it again in the coming weeks, in shaa Allah.
⨠Proudly powered by PN (yes, itās literally just me lol).āØ(so be patient š)
For now, this post is specifically for the Bangladeshi diaspora: Bangladeshis living outside Bangladesh who are seeking someone who is also based abroad. [later in the weeks Iāll think of more ways to include everyone]
Before we begin, here are the ground rules:
šæ 1. Strictly or Actively Practicing Muslims Only
This space is for brothers and sisters who are actively striving in their Deen. That means praying, eating halal, and no smoking, vaping, or drinking. If that doesnāt align with your lifestyle, please respectfully sit this one out.
šæ 2. Attraction Matters
Physical attraction is important and pretending otherwise helps nobody.
Please either:
⢠Link your Muzz profile, or
⢠Have a clear display picture on your Jamaa profile. So I have some Idea to who I am matching to whom.
For sisters who observe hijab or niqab, your modesty is fully respected. I will take extra care to match you with brothers who genuinely value and appreciate that commitment.
šæ 3. Provider Mindset Required
This space is for brothers who genuinely embrace the role of provider.
No 50/50 debates.
No ājoint accountsā
No ā if she wants to contribute I'll appreciate it.ā
Know where you stand before entering.
šæ 4. Serious Timelines Only
The goal is marriage, not endless talking stages
If youāre planning to marry in 1ā2 years, this probably isnāt the right fit.
Weāre looking for people who are comfortable involving families within approximately 6ā8weeks if things are progressing positively. If this scares you, you know the drill.
šæ 5. Maturity & Respect
If youāre putting yourself forward, Iām assuming youāre genuinely ready for marriage and its responsibilities, including financial stability and emotional maturity.
Also looking at men who respect a womanās choices:
⢠If she has career ambitions, support her.
⢠If she wishes to stay home, cherish her.
⢠If you believe one makes her more valuable than the other, then.. skip this post. š¤·āāļø

š HOW THIS WILL WORK š
I will review profiles and manually match people based on what I genuinely believe has long-term compatibility potential.
Because the focus is quality rather than quantity, not everyone will receive a match, and thatās completely okay. Iād rather protect your time than force unsuitable introductions.
Once matches are announced:
⢠The brother must make the first move and give Salaam. (Dw Iāll provide ice breakers)
⢠Initial conversation happens publicly in the comments.
⢠Consider the community the collective wali for your match. š
ā¢Each match is expected to have a minimum of 5 meaningful exchanges (not just greetings) before either party decides to continue or close the interaction.
This is to ensure genuine compatibility is explored beyond first impressions.
If it does not feel like a match, either person may send a š» sunflower as a polite closure signal. This means āthank you, I do not feel compatibilityā and ends the interaction respectfully.
Or You give a šļø= Iām open to continuing
⢠Others in the comments are welcome to like ā„ļø the conversation as a form of encouragement if you see them having potential.
⢠If the interaction is respectful and promising, you can move to DMs.
Please keep everything respectful, sincere, and kind.
Ps. If you are a brother and you like a sisters bio in the comments like it so I know who you might be interested in. And if you are a sister - just privately msg me if you like a specific brother . Iāll work around it. Hehe š¤ā„ļøš
Bismillah.
Letās see if we can get at least one wedding out of this. šæš
I would also like some kachchi sent to me if this works out š„°

I love this initiative! May Allah reward you immensely and may folks actually find their naseeb šš¼š©· I can't wait to utilize this when I finally feel ready again to begin the search
This is great initiative and quite well written. May Allah SWT reward you for it.
That's a good initiative. Hopefully it works out for some folks. Always good to see some fellow Bengalis doing good work.
