The 40s are just getting good! Connect with others who are thriving in this chapter of life 💫
Sometimes I disappoint myself more than anyone else ever could. Yet no matter how far I wander, my heart always knows where to return. In my weakest moments, I find comfort in knowing that Allah's mercy is greater than my mistakes, and that hope is never lost as long as I keep turning back to Him. 🤍

Ladies ... would you click like on someone's profile first ? I don't think I could for fear of rejection 😩😩😩
There is some unspoken preference in having a common language when it comes to compatibility.
Someone can be a genuinely wonderful person.. an incredible person even. Funny, stable, kind, gentle, loyal etc and still not be the right fit simply because there's a language barrier.
Communication affects a lot of things in my humble opinion and to top it off when two people can't do it right because of not having a common tongue? That's five times as hard.
Maybe this is just something I personally place a lot of importance on 🤷🏽♀️ and it might not rank as highly on someone else's list, and that's okay.
But being able to communicate naturally and express myself the way I actually mean to matters a lot to me. It also matters to me when someone can tell me about their day, their thoughts, their interests, or something they're excited about without having to reduce everything to "it's good", "it's nice", or "it's okay".
My Malay isn't great, and it's not something I'm proud of. So if I had to communicate solely in Malay, I know I wouldn't be able to communicate as well as I could in the language I'm most proficient in.
And I'm sure some people would put in the effort to learn, and subhanAllah, that's admirable. But at this stage of life, I don't think I have the patience to build a relationship around the hope that common communicative language will become easier years down the road.
So before I swipe, I read your profile properly.
