Wrote this today: Once, a human life unfolded within a narrow circle.
In those earlier days, the heart learned its lessons from what was near. One loved the faces seen each morning, resented the same familiar rivals, and was shaped,quietly, inevitably, by those who lived beside them, worked beside them, and shared the same small horizon. The world was not empty, but it was distant. The stranger beyond the village was not a possibility, but a mystery.
And so, love and fate often walked the same road.
Now, the circle has been shattered and redrawn into something vast,so vast it has no edges. A person may now reach across oceans without moving their feet, may feel affection for someone they will never touch, may harbor envy or hatred toward those they would never have encountered in a simpler age. The human heart, once anchored to place, now drifts across an endless sea of faces.
This great expansion is a marvel. It is beautiful in its promise,
connection without boundary, discovery without limit. But it carries a quiet cost.
For when choice becomes infinite, certainty begins to fade.
Where once a young woman might have found meaning among the few who knew her and were known to her, now she may look beyond them,toward distant possibilities, imagined lives, unseen people. She may give her heart to someone who exists only at the edge of reach, and in doing so, overlook the one who stood beside her all along. Not because that love was unworthy, but because the horizon whispered of something more.
Thus, in gaining the world, we have complicated the simple truths of closeness.
The modern soul is rich in connection, yet restless in belonging.

Life isn't something we truly live...
It simply passes itself

We call it free will when we choose
We call it free will when we walk away

But perhaps our only freedom is making the choice and perhaps not

Everything that follows...
the people we meet
the opportunities we miss
the love that finds us ..... or never does
was never really ours to control

You may choose marriage
yet spend seventy years
without meeting a soul
worthy of sharing your life

And then all that's left is regret

Sometimes I wonder....

Is free will really freedom?????

Or is it just a beautiful illusion,
created so we have someone to blame
even if that someone is ourselves!!.......
