Overwhelmed by own thoughts 😖 wanted someone who understands even though I can’t even understand myself.

It’s insane, I know

Has anyone else noticed the "Hijabi Jar" phenomenon? (سياسة البرطمان)

It’s a modern marriage paradox. Men are expected to invest heavily… financially, emotionally, and through mahr….into a woman, only to be told they have zero say in her lifestyle choices post or even before nikah.

  • -If she wears hijab, you can't request more modesty.
  • -If she doesn't, you can't request she starts.

The rule seems to be: "Accept her exactly as she is, or you're controlling (putting her in a jar)."

But here’s the real question: If a woman’s loyalty to her existing aesthetic and fast-fashion choices is worth more to her than the massive sacrifices a man makes to marry her, where is the mutual respect? Why are men expected to bring their entire lives to the table while women aren't expected to compromise on a single pair of jeans? Is modern marriage just a bad investment for men now?

A wise man once told me: A true loving man only sees the advantages of their partner, but a married man became so because he chose the one disadvantage he can never change but can’t live without.

Wish i can say the same for women; as the modern standard demands a flawless, nonexistent archetype. Chasing a “perfect man” is atheism at its finest….. expecting perfection from the creation rather than the Creator. استغفر الله
