Can't beat this feeling of helplessness tonight.

Not that the feeling is new. But to sleep soundly in the comfort of home, surrounded by loved ones, when on the other side of the world Palestinians are torched, raped and massacred by Israelis & humanitarians who tried breaking the siege to help transfer food, water, baby milk formula etc were ALSO raped, filmed naked and tortured feels so guilty. To make it worse, saw the videos of Bilbao police beat the humanitarians who returned to Spain from Israeli prisons, right before I was about to call it a night. My uncomfortable reaction is still a privilege to what the victims faced/are facing miles away.

There’s a particular kind of guilt in witnessing all this from afar & still having to continue with ordinary life. It's quarter to two here, the AC noise is drowning the voice of crickets chirping in the sultry summer night. People are tucked in & will wake up with the same horrible audacity to binge on boycott products & share pictures of it on social media, getting ridiculously defensive if/when one checks them. The world keeps moving as if these horrors are normal & I genuinely don’t know how some of us are expected to process that.

We always missing action like this in our protests here. A little “anti semitic” 😂 donuts would be fun to do! It’s another way of saying: Free Palestine 🇵🇸 ya heard!!!

My dear brothers and sisters in ummah.
I will be travelling in July to personally deliver aid to displaced widows and orphans of Gaza currently in Cairo.

These are the families of the shuhadā — women who have lost their husbands and children who have lost their fathers. Supporting them is a responsibility upon us as an Ummah.

These are the very people who have remained steadfast in protecting Masjid Al-Aqsa, sacrificing more than we can imagine.

We ask Allah to accept from them and to allow us to stand by them in whatever way we can.

All together we are able to raise and deliver support. Let’s continue in that effort — this is part of our duty and our struggle.

BREAKING - Court of Appeal Judgment June 15th

we received notice from Huda Ammori that the Home Office appeal ruling will be handed down on June 15th.

This is just three days after our major action at Woolwich Crown Court in opposition to the use of “terrorist connection” sentencing against the Filton4.

While we will be holding our “Same Sit… Different Day” action (details coming soon!) on June 15th at the Royal Courts of Justice, we ask everyone to prioritise the Woolwich Crown Court action on June 12th.

There is important strategic reasoning for this.

The use of “terrorist connection” sentencing could apply regardless of the proscription of Palestine Action. In fact, it could be used against any activist accused of criminal damage relating to any cause, regardless of whether they are connected to a group or organisation.

This would be the first time in British history that this has ever happened. We must oppose this with all our might.
