Drown to you…
Despite our vast differences.
Despite our uncertainty
and the hopeless truth between us.
Drown to you…
Despite the burdens we created.
Despite this unsafe longing
that keeps my heart burning,
slowly consuming its own soul.
Drown to the reality
that perhaps
we were never meant
to be together-
whether by fate
or by our own choices.
- -shattered one
I know how hard they tried
to make you feel weak inside,
like your worth was something
they could easily decide.
Like you were only useful
when you carried all their pain,
then tossed aside so carelessly
again and again.
Like a voice kept in chains,
too afraid to speak,
forced to wear a smile
while slowly growing weak.
But listen to me closely—
you were never born to break.
You are more than all the damage
they attempted just to make.
You’re a fighter, not an object.
A soul, not something owned.
A heart that still keeps beating
through battles faced alone.
And even on the days
when your light feels far above,
never forget this truth:
you are worthy of love.
Not because you suffered.
Not because you survived.
But simply because your existence
deserves to be alive.

At what age did you truly realize the reality, responsibilities, and hardships of life???
Mine:
At 12 years old (50%).
And by the age of 16 (100%).
Never made it as a wise man
I couldn't make it as a poor man stealing
Tired of livin' like a blind man
I'm sick of sight without a sense of feeling
And this is how you remind me
This is how you remind me of what I really am
I just wanted to say
you make me happy
And I know that sounds small, but I mean it in the ordinary way too
In a way a simple day can feel so much better when I know that I get to spend it with you, you make me believe in love, we get parts wrong
we talk through anything and we never stop learning how to treat each other with care
I survived all the snakes , but a butterfly killed me
