How to Protect Your Energy in Islam
In Islam, what people often call “energy protection” is understood in a different way: it is about protecting your heart (qalb), your faith (iman), and your emotional and spiritual wellbeing through connection with Allah.
The strongest form of protection is remembrance of Allah (dhikr). Regular dhikr—such as saying SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar—calms the heart and strengthens inner stability. The Qur’an itself reminds us: “Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” (13:28)
Prayer (salah) is also a form of spiritual grounding. It creates structure in the day and reconnects a person back to their purpose, helping prevent emotional overwhelm from people or environments.
Islam also encourages setting boundaries through wisdom. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advised choosing good company and distancing oneself from harmful influence. You are not required to stay in situations that damage your well-being or faith.
Protection also includes seeking refuge in Allah through du’a and reciting verses like Ayat al-Kursi and the last two surahs of the Qur’an (Al-Falaq and An-Nas), which are traditionally used for spiritual protection.
In essence, Islamic “energy protection” is not about blocking people out of fear, but about strengthening the heart so it is not easily shaken by negativity, attachment, or emotional harm—while staying grounded in faith, clarity, and trust in Allah.
I wonder why some guys think it’s toxic when woman post something negative about her experience with man.. her intention is not to generalise all man even though yes, of course she become traumatised etc..But please, have compassion. What other people feel is valid. After all, we all go through our own process. Don’t read & comments d posting u don’t like if u think u’re too full to hold space. Simple.

✈️ One of My Funniest Airport Experiences
As a pilot, I’ve had thousands of hours in the air and seen all sorts of things, but one airport experience still makes me laugh whenever I think about it.
I had just arrived at the airport in full uniform and decided to grab a coffee before my flight. As I walked through the terminal, a little boy spotted me and couldn’t stop staring.
He finally walked up and asked, “Are you really the pilot?”
I smiled and replied, “Yes, I am.”
He looked confused for a moment and then asked, “Then why are you walking? Shouldn’t you be flying already?”
I nearly spilled my coffee laughing.
A short while later, I boarded the aircraft and began preparing for departure. Everything was going smoothly until I opened the cockpit door and found an elderly lady comfortably seated in the jump seat behind me.
I politely asked, “Ma’am, how did you get in here?”
Without missing a beat, she smiled and said, “Well, Captain, I saw everyone following you, so I assumed this was first class!”
At that point, even my cabin crew couldn’t hold back their laughter.
But the best part was yet to come.
After boarding was complete, I made my usual announcement:
“Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. This is your captain speaking. We’ll be departing shortly and we expect a smooth flight today.”
A few moments later, a flight attendant came into the cockpit trying not to laugh.
“Captain,” she said, “a passenger has a message for you.”
“What is it?” I asked.
She replied, “It’s his first flight and he wants to know if you could sound a little less confident because you’re making him nervous!”
Needless to say, by the time we landed, I had learned an important lesson:
Flying an aircraft is easy. Sometimes, dealing with passengers is the real adventure. 😂✈️
What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever heard while travelling?
That day reminded me that no matter how serious aviation may seem, there’s always room for a good laugh at 35,000 feet. 😄✈️
