O my Most Merciful Lord, the Provider for all creation! I pray before You for all the girls and women who are compelled to work due to difficult circumstances, family burdens, or pressing responsibilities. O Allah, please ease their hardships, bless their efforts, and grant them abundant, lawful sustenance. O my Lord, wherever these women work, protect honor and dignity, safeguard their paths from every kind of trial and harm, and grant them such excellent means of livelihood that they never to look to anyone but You. Reward their courage and patience with the best of rewards, and fill their hearts with Your peace and contentment.

The facts are that state marriage in the U.S. is a fully distinct legal contract that defines rights, obligations, and processes (like divorce, custody, and inheritance)in ways that CONTRADICT and NULLIFY Islamic frameworks.
Economically, it redistributes assets; politically, it grants the state sole authority over dissolution; legally, it nullifies or erodes the Islamic contract’s core terms (talaq, polygamy). These are structural realities (not abstract feelings) and they mean we as Muslims must choose between a civil framework that negates essential Islamic conditions or staying fully within nikāḥ. There’s no avoiding that reality.
