When it comes to Mahr, what is the average people ask for here in Toronto? I’ve been hearing the most common amounts is 5-25K range. I’m planning to ask for 20K but I have a feeling whoever I meet will be shocked by this amount unless I find someone very financially stable. I am open to bringing that amount down to 15K or 10K but I also don’t know how Mahr works. Is it negotiable?
I would be someone looking for the Mahr in the form of money or half money half gold. Also, I don’t know if this is a crazy idea but my goal would be to use part of the Mahr to pay off some of my OSAP debt

I’m going to take a break from this app for now. My experience so far has been mixed and hasn’t really aligned with what I’m looking for. I’ve had conversations that seemed promising, but when it came to actually meeting or taking things forward, it often didn’t go anywhere. I’ve also met someone in person before and realized we weren’t on the same page in terms of seriousness. More recently, I spoke to someone who initially sounded very serious, even talking about long-term intentions, but it didn’t match the actions or direction of the conversation. Overall, I’m looking for something more consistent, honest, and based on real effort rather than just chatting. Wishing everyone the best.
