I don't know why this is on my mind right now, but
Dear fellow Black people,
please don't disregard mixed-race, light-skin people as not really Black. We sure get called the N word and other disgusting (s€xualised) slurs a lot, considering we don't even count as Black in your head.
Plus, as mixed-race people we never really fit in, either way. Both, or all cultures and backgrounds that we carry in us don't really claim us as part of their people. So, it's a tough spot we are in. We don't want your sympathy, and we are certainly not complaining. But just being accepted by you would be nice.
