Went on a hike with a friend yesterday and took some time to sit and decompress. The opportunity to just let life be without the pressure of ideals and expectations was intriguing. Who or where would I be without ambitions and standards? Where did they even come from, and how come did I care about them? And would I have been able to perceive more nuances in His Creations had I been less tense?

I decided to pick up my pen and started to observe the way the water fell; being forced onto the surface of the rocks, breaking into smaller droplets from the impact. The boulders were the giants that also seemed to tell stories of how they came to be: some weathered enough to allow plants to grow on them. Some others were smooth with long, shallow crevices it kept me wondering if it was a volcanic rock hardening from lava-

I don't know. I won't live long but I am blessed with the chance to witness a sample of His Glory.

We've been blessed with such a beautiful world, we should go out and explore every chance we get. Especially with the nice weather coming up, take some time away from technology and social media and just explore.
