Feature Request

This comes from a genuine issue I’ve been facing recently.

Over the past few days, several people I’ve never interacted with have been tagging me in their posts and comment threads. The only way I found to stop it was to block them, which honestly feels like an extreme solution.

Could we have a feature where users can approve or decline tag requests, especially from people they don’t know?

This would:
• Prevent unwanted tagging.
• Stop people from being dragged into conversations they have nothing to do with.
• Reduce unnecessary notifications and chaos.
• Give users more control over their own experience.

I have a feeling I’m not the only one who’s faced this. A lot of other users would have experienced something similar.

I think this small feature could make a big difference to the overall user experience.
