Hi everyone, just arrived in Calgary but is that normal to have no answer back when you apply ( I'm a Hard work , I adapt and learn quickly) and have even have a reference letter from my last boss it's been 3 week that I'm applying on indeed everyday , I even rent a Car to knock at all company’s door 🥲........I pray every night allah to help me in this process 😭 if someone with a good hearts and a good faith have a connexion in the construction ( I had experience on heavy equipment operator)

I really want a simple remote job, so I can travel to different countries. Any suggestions?

At my current job I am facing discrimination and I got so sick I went on sick leave because of all the bullying they did. Its a good paying job though and the experience, when they are not being toxic, is good for my professional growth. I dont know if I should go back or quit. I applied to other jobs but haven’t heard back. Its been a month of applying. I am on sick leave for 3 months ending next week. I fear in my absence they found other issues to critize about my work and want to kick me out. I would rather quit than be fired but I feel stuck. And no its not something I can go to HR for. I teach at a private school and there is no union even.

Here is what they did so far:
-took away my courses at the complaint of one parent which was false accusations, they didnt even consult me
-reduced my pay
-put junior people I trained in leadership to critisize my work
-wrote up reports critisizing my courses and majority of thise I provided evidence for that they were false
-they want me to work more hours than I am paid. Because I want to stick to my work hours only they said “we are unsure if you have another source of income” which makes me upset-who are they to question if I have another source of income or not? Which I don’t have by the way
-they started a employee review process on me in writing without telling me what it was they asked me to sign on false claims which were not true so I didnt sign them

I cannot afford a lawyer. I feel stuck.

How to know if there is increament in pay whithout asking clique? 😅😂
