I’ve seen too much. Close friends of mine had fathers who went behind their wives backs, went back home, got another wife and kids, and the wife didn’t even know 😭

I’ve talked to women who went through the same thing. A sister I was getting to know even told me she tried reaching out to her dad and he never responded😭😭

Wallahi this stuff disgusts me.

This is exactly why I would NEVER entertain the possibility of multiple wives. Ever.

I’ve seen how much damage it can do. I’ve seen the broken homes. I’ve seen the mothers left to pick up the pieces. I’ve seen the children grow up without their fathers.

So many broken children chasing validation from other people, looking for role models everywhere because their father wasn’t there.

All because of the selfishness of a man who wanted another wife but couldn’t even fulfill the rights of the family he already had.

Brothers don’t be like this.
