i keep seeing posts about guys asking girls
“does height matter” they say yes and they pull a weight scale - or ask them to take off their make up… for some reason it’s all over my tiktok and insta feed and i see the comments and lads supporting this behaviour.

this trend/act is petty and immature. it’s a personal preference, and there isn’t anything wrong with that. you might be born genetically shorter and it’s not your fault but it’s not their fault for liking someone that’s taller.

i like someone that’s a lighter skin colour than me, that’s my preference, i don’t see myself getting with someone that’s darker personally and it’s just because i find lighter girls more attractive. not sure why tbh but that’s my preference. a girl can have theirs and you have your own.

there’s no need to be triggered by someone personal preference and try force them to change it by calling them out for one of your own personal preferences. it all seems so childish.

Mohammed is one of the Gazan journalists who risked his life many times to show us the war crimes committed in Gaza. We've seen many journalists killed in cold blood, wishing we could have done something to prevent the brutality they endured.

Mohammed is pleading to save his life. The question is, are we ready to sacrifice a bit of what we have to save a life? As an ummah, we always speak about being strong and blaming others for not doing anything to help the Palestinian. Let's reflect on ourselves for a bit and ask, have we done anything, or are we just as helpless as our leaders?
