What does that look like?

In my opinion, why would I chase someone unless I have reason to believe she's interested? I don't plan on becoming the neighborhood creep and a social pariah.

Reasons to believe she's interested can vary depending on the person.
Say I'm at an event:

  One person tries to talk to me out of the blue. I have reason to believe she's interested.

  Another person is shy around me, maybe looks away when I notice her. I have reason to believe she's interested.

Would you blame me for pursuing either of these women rather than the third one who's actually more attractive to me and secretly more attracted to me than the other two, but gave me absolutely no way of knowing?
