Anyone else occasionally experience the same issue I do? Sometimes the check and x disappear and I have to exit the app and re enter. App basically glitches. Not sure if it’s just me. It is strange as I only started experiencing this issue recently

I just want to take a moment to look you in the eyes and acknowledge how incredibly heavy this road can actually be. When you first take your shahada, there is so much joy and light, but nobody really warns you about the emotional whiplash that comes right after, leaving you caught in a painful, exhausting crossfire. On one side, you are trying to navigate your old life while your family and lifelong friends look at you with total confusion, suspicion, or a cold distance that makes you feel like an absolute stranger at your own family dinner table. Then, you turn to the Muslim community looking for a safe place to land, only to run into cultural cliques, awkward sideways glances at the mosque, and people constantly nitpicking how you dress, how you hold your hands in prayer, or your pronunciation of Arabic words. It is devastating to feel like you aren't "enough" for your old world, yet not "properly Muslim" enough for your new one, and if you are sitting in your room tonight feeling completely isolated and wondering if you made the right choice because of how hard it is, please know that your pain is entirely valid.
But I need you to remember that your relationship with God is personal, and it belongs to you and Him alone. Allah did not guide you based on a checklist of rules or the approval of cultural communities; He guided you because of what He saw inside your heart. He sees the anxiety you feel before walking into a mosque alone, He knows the ache of missing your family, and He reassures us in the Quran to be patient because "indeed, you are in Our eyes." You do not owe anyone perfection, and you do not have to prove your identity to a single soul. Even when you stumble, your effort is precious; the Prophet, peace be upon him, reminded us that the one who struggles and stutters while trying to recite the Quran gets a double reward, proving that your struggle is actually a beloved act of worship, not a failure.
When the loneliness feels like it is too much to bear, remember that Allah says in a Hadith Qudsi that if we take even a walking step toward Him, He comes to us running. The ease you are searching for is already promised to you, as Allah comforts us with the reminder that "indeed, with hardship will be ease." Just take a deep breath, protect your inner peace, tune out the background noise of everyone else’s expectations, and know that every single messy, heavy baby step you take is seen, valued, and loved by the One who called you to Him.
