So something interesting happened today… 😄
I attended a Muslim business networking event in Mumbai. It was my second time there, so I already knew a few people.
I met this woman I hadn’t seen before, and turns out she’s a nutritionist too. So obviously, we got talking, bonded over work, discussed our practices, life… and somehow the conversation reached my marriage and personal life too. 😂
Later, during lunch, she actually called me over to sit next to her. We were casually talking when she suddenly asked,
“So, what are your plans for marriage?”
I said, “Of course I want to get married, but nothing at the moment.”
And then she casually drops…
“I have a brother. He’s a CA and one of the best in Goa.” (She is from goa, now settled in Navi Mumbai).
😭😭😭
She said a few really nice things about him too, asked my age and everything… and for probably the first time in my life, I had absolutely no idea what to say.
Like… what was I supposed to ask? What was I supposed to tell her? 😂
I don’t even remember what I replied. The conversation eventually moved on, but while leaving, she made sure we exchanged numbers too.
And now I’m sitting here thinking…
Was that just information… or was I being unofficially interviewed the entire time? 😂

May Allah grant everyone here a spouse who brings peace to their heart and draws them closer to Him.

I don't know how y'all are coping with this heat. I'm close to melting. It's far too hot for my liking. 🥵😭

I was speaking to a girl from Australia today.
I asked her what it's like to be Muslim there and whether it's easy to practice Islam, especially for women who wear the hijab or niqab.
Her answer genuinely saddened me.
She said:
"I wore the hijab for a year, but I got spat at and everything. It became too dangerous for me to keep wearing it."
I'm sure this isn't just the case in Australia—it's the reality for many Muslims in several Western countries.
It's heartbreaking that someone feels forced to choose between their faith and their safety.
I also think that too much media coverage focuses on extremists and negative stories, creating unfair stereotypes about ordinary Muslims. The vast majority of Muslims are simply trying to live peacefully, but those stories rarely make the headlines.
No one should be harassed or attacked because of what they believe or what they wear. Respect should never depend on someone's religion.

Reminded me of a Canadian saying: can't make a horse drink forcefully, idk something something.

What is your favourite collaboration and why? First it was the Swatch watch ⌚️ and now it is pokemon and Casio G Shock watch coming soon. It could bean ice cream collab or clothing collab e.g trainers 👟
My favourite is the one message podcast collaboration on Youtube.

Lately I've been seeing posts on Muzz...
Men are really showing their disgusting henios side.
Openly talking about their misogyny, considering themselves some kind of "Prize Partner", glorifying toxic masculinity, and validating their opinions using culture or religion.
Like... are you doing this for money, bruh? Does Jamma pay you for comments and engagement, or are you actually this ugly on the inside and just desperate for validation here? Why y'all are so freaking desperate for attention??
But whoever hurt you, keep that shii to yourself. Don't trauma dump here..You're miserable enough already don't spread that disease here.
And honestly, f* off. This place isn't for you. Go to Tinder or whatever "alpha/chad" app you think suits you better.
