Sometimes I wonder how many times I’ve already brushed against the life that’s been written for me. How many ordinary moments were, in reality, extraordinary ones. How many times I came within inches of answered prayers without ever realizing I was standing so close.

Maybe I’ve already crossed paths with people who will one day become impossible to imagine my life without. Maybe I’ve already walked past places that will one day feel like home. Maybe some of the dreams I’ve whispered in prayer have already found me once before… just at the wrong time.

I’ll never know.

And maybe that’s one of Allah’s greatest mercies. Because if every almost revealed itself as an almost, I’d spend my life mourning what was only delayed.

The strange thing about divine timing is that it disguises tomorrow as today. A conversation you almost forgot. A road you almost didn’t take. A prayer that felt unanswered. A goodbye that felt permanent.

We spend so much of our lives waiting for life changing moments, imagining they’ll arrive with certainty, clarity, and unmistakable signs. But perhaps the greatest moments of our lives never announce themselves.

Perhaps they arrive looking exactly like every other day. And only years later do we realize they quietly changed everything. Maybe that’s why our lives make far more sense looking backwards than they ever do looking ahead.

Allah doesn’t ask us to trust because we’ve seen the whole picture. He asks us to trust while we’re still living through paragraphs that won’t make sense until we’ve reached the final chapter.

So I don’t need to know how many times I’ve almost arrived. I don’t need to know how close I’ve already been to the life I’ve prayed for.

One day, I’ll look back and realize that what I once called waiting was simply Allah writing a story that could only ever be understood in hindsight.

May Allah grant us hearts that are content with every not yet until, in His perfect timing, it quietly becomes now. Ameen.

if you're depressed and a woman, take creatine. especially if you're over 40 years old, and/or sleep deprived.

women's brain creatine levels deplete the fastest, especially under chronic stress. creatine is shown to reduce depressive symptoms in as little as 2 weeks or consistent ingestion.

20g of creatine is enough to restore a sleep deprived brain's cognitive ability to normal levels

If a man asks you for smth whether it's ur pics or your phone number only two minutes after you've chatted with either blocks you or keeps pestering you when you say NO do not give in or lower your standards just because you are afraid of losing a "potential opportunity"
A man who does not respect your boundaries has neither honor nor integrity
